Once in a while I used generators as a simpler way of writing an iterator. I did not realize how cool and powerful generators and generator expressions they were till I read this :

Not to spoil your fun, but generators just sound like a poorer cousin of a proper functional language - meta functions maybe.
Probably true. I don't remember much about functional languages as i dont use them everyday.
