Quite interesting. How many of these startups are running out of India - and I don't mean an India-Dev-Centre. The Cressida Group link doesnt seem to be working though

ALL of them are in India. They dont have a US counterpart yet ;). Guess Rk took down cressida for some updations.

This, from RK's blog, may explain why 'The Cressida Group' link does not open:
..."The Cressida Group" seemed very apt. Unfortunately, the Registrar of Companies is not happy about the use of the word "Group", so we moved on to "Cressida Capital". Even that was not approved. Finally we got the name Cressida Holdings approved by Registrar of Companies. So the parent company is called Cressida Holdings. ...

How about stock fundas? Seems to be a US-based site. Either ways looks like the IT success has planted the entrepreneurship bug in India, especially the south of it.

Yah the sponser was from US or something like that. Dude, u shud start one too, instead of joining some random McKinsey :-)). Not sure how hard/easy running a company is though .. we will know in a couple of years...

I think it is random offer of $200K from random Merill Lynch instead of McKinsey.

Anyway, good job putting this together. I am happy to know that even Jabal is doing something low-tech. I had ideas like Carwale, propertywale in mind some time ago :-) Cool. Atleast Jabal and me are on the same page.

I was wading through stats of stockfundas. Saw the link to this blog. I am based out of Dallas. ex-IITK person. Anand and team are out of Bangalore and looks like your buddies from IITD perhaps?

We used to work at Trilogy a couple of years back. All the other folks except Anand are my IITM buddies...
